A worn copper alloy Roman nummus (AE3), probably of Arcadius (AD 388-402), or the earlier House of Valentinian (AD 364-378); Reece period 21. Victory advancing left on reverse. The coin is too worn to read the legends, although enough can be made out to suggest the coin was minted in Lugdunum (Lyon).
