A probably complete copper-alloy cosmetic set of Roman date, c.AD 43 - 100.
The cosmetic set comprises a pair of tweezers, a toilet spoon and a nail cleaner joined by a wire attachment loop. The loop is formed from a length of wire of sub-circular section 23.17mm in diameter (widest point) and 2.14mm thick, which flattens at each end where both flat ends would join against each other to form a complete circular loop. A silver toilet article comprising a pair of tweezers with an ear scoop on an opposing terminal. The tweezers have been formed from two rectangular plates of silver forming arms with curved-over ends. These arms are undecorated, apart from a collar of three grooves at the top of the tweezers where the component plates narrow and are fused together to form the projecting arm with ear-scoop terminal.

The object has a sub rectangular form and rectangular cross section. It consists of a rectangular frame with a flat rectangular bar across its centre. This is decorated with a series of horizontal lines. Above this is a triangular shaped open projection with a circular fixing loop at its apex. TREASURE CASE 2019 T74. Description: An incomplete silver tweezer arm of Roman to medieval date. The arm tapers from a slightly curved terminal at one end towards the other end which is broken and missing. The curved end terminal does not appear to have a break as it it smooth, so it doesn't appear to have had an inturned blade. The upper side of the object is decorated with thin incised linear decoration in the form of a double linear border down either long edge. There are multiple scratches on both sides of the object.

A complete silver wire ring, circular in cross-section and with a uniform thickness. It is formed from a single strand of silver wire, the ends crossed and wrapped twice around the hoop. The terminals of the wire are worn and the ring is undecorated.

A strip of copper-alloy, possibly one arm from a pair of tweezers dating to the Roman period. The strip is rectangular in shape and in section, although slightly tapering towards one end. At the wider end, the strip is slightly bent, which may indicate its function as tweezers. The upper surface is decorated with a series of diagonal grooves. The underside is plain. The fragment measures 46mm in length, 6mm in width and 1mm in thickness.

A pair of copper alloy tweezers of Roman date, AD 85-400. It consists of a strip of flat copper alloy, thicker than normal sheet, bent into a loop in the centre to create the two arms. Each straight-sided arm broadens very slightly towards the outer end where it turns inwards at about 120 degrees and terminates in a squared off end. The outer face of each arm is marked with a broad, shallow, longitudinal groove running down the centre. There is no other decoration. The tweezers have a smooth, grey green patina. They are 54mm long, 6.8mm wide and 14.8mm thick. It weighs 6.73gm.

A complete pair of copper-alloy tweezers possibly Roman in date, however a medieval date cannot be ruled out. The tweezers are made from a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded over on itself at a defined loop to form a sprung end. The arms of the tweezers flare out gradually along the length (3.5mm at the loop end, 5mm at the tip); these have been bent out of alignment. The tweezers are rectangular in cross section. There is no decoration. The tweezers are 49.6mm in length, 0.9mm in thickness and weigh 3.43g.
