Silver plated irregular copy of a denarius of Augustus (RIC Vol I No. 99). Obverse; Slow quadriga, its panels ornamented, surmounted by four minature galloping horses, CAESARI//AVGVSTO. Reverse;Toga picta over tunica palmata between aquila and wreath. //CONS.SVO. "G" bankers mark in centre of reverse flan. Reece period 1. Circa 20-19 BC.
