A fragment of a copper-alloy statue of Roman date, c.AD 43 - 410.
The fragment is an ear from an animal, possibly a horse. It is sub-triangular in plan with a U-shaped section. Repeated transverse grooves are positioned around the edge of the front of the ear, giving the appearance of hair.
Shallow cut-outs with straight edges are present around the area of the break to the lower edge of the ear. A small square cut-out is also present through the edge of the object.

A copper alloy circular mount which is probably medieval in date about AD 1200 - 1340. It has a raised shield motif bearing three lions passant guardant, the coat of arms of England from about AD 1198 until 1340. These are on a red enamel background in a square topped shield. The shield is topped by a fleur de lis in relief, and flanked by two elongated beasts, their heads facing each other at the top of the shield, and their tails dividing into three at the base, also in relief. They appear to be wyverns with two legs each and wings.

A complete copper alloy lunate harness mount dating from the Roman period (AD43-200).
The object is lunate or crescent shaped with the main body in the form of curving folds, tapering from the centre to join at the terminals where there is a swirl inwards at both ends. At the left there appears to be an open (possibly broken?) loop; this terminal is also a little higher. The reverse is concave. There is an attachment stud at the base of the curve with a large almost flat top.
The patina of the metal is of a dark green to grey colouring with some lighter patches.

A complete copper-alloy military harness strap slide of Roman date, c.AD 100 – 300.
The object consists of a front plate comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central rectangular panel, and a loop. The front plate is D-shaped in section with a concave interior on the reverse. Projecting from the reverse is an integral rectangular loop extending along the long axis. This loop is rectangular in section.

Only the plate of this brooch remains with the horses legs and tail missing and the rider remaining from the waist down. The pin, along with much of the pin mechanism is also missing. A complete copper-alloy one-piece crotal bell of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1700.
The bell is spherical and hollow, separated into two hemispheres by an integral raised circumferential ridge. An integral sub-rectangular attachment loop projects from the apex of the upper hemisphere with an semi-circular aperture.
The upper hemisphere displays two circular sound holes. The lower hemisphere has an elongated ovate sound slot and the loose iron pea remains in-situ and functional. The bell is undecorated.

The object comprised a rectangular plate with a large rectangular recess within a double banded linear border. The recess has a raised cross formed of two transecting curvilinear lines extending between opposing corners. The resulting sub-triangular cells retain traces of red enamel. An integral rectangular loop extends along the short axis of the reverse of the plate.

The object comprised a D-sectioned front plate with moulded reels meeting as a triple banded central semi-circular boss. The outer ends of the reels terminate in rounded bosses. An integral rectangular loop extends along the long axis of the reverse of the front plate.

A complete copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100.
The terret is of the 'simple' type, comprising an ovate basal strap bar flanked by circular collars. A circular sectioned loop extends to either side of the collars, tapering in diameter to the side opposite the strap bar.
The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The terret loop is 18.15mm in diameter, 2.67mm in thickness while the collars are 7.04mm in diameter. It weighs 2.99g.

The terret comprises a main ovate ring, which is broken at the narrowest point, with an integral rectangular loop projecting from the base. The main ring is bottom-heavy displaying wear on one face. The ring has a tapering oval section and the loop is sub-rectangular in section. The terret is undecorated. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn.

A complete copper alloy ring dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1200-1800).
The ring is plain and unmarked, and slightly ovalised. It is covered in dark green patina, some of which has spalled off to reveal a much lighter green.
Rings like this had many uses, from furniture fittings, to horse harness and tack, to a hanging fitting. Wide range of possible dates, from medieval to post medieval. A Medieval copper-alloy gilded scallop shell shaped horse harness pendant suspension mount dating from AD 1175 - 1400. The mount has four lobes round the top, a smaller one to each side, and a flat base. A slotted hinge tabs projects from the lower edge, and the tab is bent back on itself. A large doneheaded rivet pierces the centre of the mount and projects font and back. Gilding remains in the grooves defining the scallop decoration across most of the centre area. The object is 22.0mm long, 15.4mm wide, 10.0mm thick and weighs 3.14g.

A complete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1800 – 1950.
The buckle comprises a sub-rectangular frame with rounded corners and a recessed bar set below the plane of the loop. The frame has a thick D-shaped cross section, with a circular cross section to the bar. A triangular pin remains fitted around the bar by an open loop.
The metal has a dull grey patina and is worn. The buckle is 40.3mm long, 39.7mm wide, 8.9mm thick and weighs 12.9g.
