An Iron Age silver unit of the Dobunni/Western Region, dating to c 50 - 20 BC. Rudd's Dobunni 'Cotswold Eagle' type. Obverse: Moon head right, pellet triads for hair, stalk lips, large boss on chin, crescent in front. Reverse: Triple-tailed annulet horse left, flower motif below, stylised bird's head above. ABC 2018-2021 Dimensions: 13.5mm in diameter; 1g in weight.
