Silver one real of Ferdinand V and Isabella I of Spain, from the reign of the Reyes Catolicos (1469-1504), when they were both rulers of Aragon and Castille (1479-1504). The coin is missing its legends and slightly bent, but at the base of the shield is a pomegranate of Granada on the obverse and the letter 'G' under the yoke on the reverse, signifying the mint of Granada, similar to a real listed by Cayon (2005) on p.427, no.2655, which dates from 1497. Similar coins on the database are recorded in CORN-086AE4, WILT-8D37C4, ESS-B9DB11 and IOW-25EE66.
