An Irish cut silver halfpenny of Henry III minted at Dublin, 1251-1254, the Moneyer is Ricard. Obverse - right hand holding sceptre and part of hair and beard survives. Two sides of a possibly triangular inner border formed by a solid line. Inscription 'VSR EX'. Reverse - voided long cross, three pellets in both surviving quadrants, beaded or wavy inner circle. Inscription '?VE RIC'.
