A fragment of a Medieval silver cut half penny of Henry II, dating from AD 1158-1180. 'Cross and Crosslets' Tealby type. Bust type uncertain, with large pelleted collar and simple mantle, probably Bust C, dating from AD 1161-1165, although this is uncertain. Cf. North 1994 Vol I, pp. 216-217, nos. 952/1-961/3. The coin has also suffered damage and circumferential clipping, making it difficult to fully identify the coin.
