An incomplete cut half penny Medieval silver coin. The coin is a voided short cross cut halfpenny of Henry II, Class 1, dating from 1180 - 1190. Issued by Adam at Winchester. See North (1963) page 164, numbers 962-964. One end of the coin is missing and there is a chip in the edge. Measurements are; length 17.3mm, width 9.6mm, thickness 1.0mm and weight 0.50g.
