Reverse: Large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle; in small cross in saltire. Inscription: Illegible. Cross & crosslets or 'Tealby' coinage. An incomplete worn Medieval silver short cross cut halfpenny of Henry II (1154-1189). Short cross class 1 probably variety 1c, North (1994) no. 964. Minted at London by Fil Aimer 1180-c.1189. It is cut along the lines of the voided short cross, roughly cutting the obverse 9-3 o'clock. Coin is fragile and structurally unsound. Measurements: 18.3mm long, 10.46mm wide, 1.01mm thick and 0.7g in weight.
