An extremely worn, silver, Medieval cut half penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272) Class IIb. It is a voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant, likely minted by Adam in Oxford. AD 1248.
Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward.
Obverse inscription: [HENRICVS] [REX] [TERCI].
Reverse description: Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.
Reverse inscription: [ADA]/MON/OX[O]/[NFO].
Diameter: 18.05mm. Thickness: 0.85mm. Die axis: 10.
