Silver Coin. Voided Long Cross Cut Halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272), Class 5a-b issue of 1247-1272. Obverse description: Bust facing, sceptre left so Class 4 onwards, hair of two pellets and two curls. Obverse inscription: (---)III [sceptre] HE(---), which should indicate Class 5a-b. Reverse description: Voided long cross, three pellets in each quadrant, prominent pellet circle. Diameter: 17.05mm, Weight: 0.56gms.
