A cut half-penny of the Anarchy period, possibly a new type of Stephen coin. Gareth Williams of the British Museum has stated: 'The obverse is basically a BMC1 variant, with a crown paralleled on coins attributed to the young Henry of Anjou, but with a crozier of the type found on coins of Bishop Henry of Blois. The reverse is straightforward BMC1. From the crozier, it is probably another episcopal issue.'
