A complete silver voided short cross cut half penny. Probably Henry III (c.1216-1272), class 7 (c.1217-1272) due to the style of the bust.The coin is very worn on both obverse and reverse and only partial letters of the legends remain. Obverse - [h]EN[RICVS REX], reverse - [...]OL[...]. Mint and moneyer uncertain. Length - 16.53mm. Width - 8.74mm. Thickness - 0.51. Weight - 0.56g. North Vol 1, 1963, page 166 number 987-980.

An incomplete, hammered, silver, short cross cut half penny. It was struck at the mint of Canterbury and is class 3 or 4a or 5a, (c1190-c1204), Richard I or John. There is a knick from one end of the legend. Thhere appears to be 5 pearls to the crown (at least 3 are visible) and the lettering doesn’t look class 4. It could be class 5a The half penny is 20.2mm in diameter and 0.6mm thick, it weighs 0.61g.
