Spink (2002, 13) The coin measures 17.8mm in length, 9.4mm in width, 0.8mm in thickness and weighs 0.56g. The obverse appears to have been struck off the flan.

A Scottish medieval silver cut halfpenny probably of William I. The penny is a phase B short cross and stars type (Seaby 1984, 6; ref. 5031), dating circa 1205-1230. The moneyer was Henri le Rus, who minted at Perth: the coin was thus probably minted in Perth, although this is not certain.
