A cut Medieval halfpenny, contemporary copper-alloy forgery of a muled or double-struck voided short and long cross penny, c.1180-1278 AD. One face of the coin has a voided short cross struck off-centre, while the opposite face has a voided long cross, both legends being largely illegible making close identification of type or ruler impossible.
