Medieval hammered silver coin of Henry III, a cut halfpenny, probably class 7a3 or 7b1. Minted at London. The reverse face has been double struck. Dates to between c1220 and c1229 AD. Obverse legend reads as [hE]N[RICVS R/]EX. There is a pellet stop between N and D so the the reverse legend reads as [... O]N LVN.D+. The coin has been clipped. The length is 16mm, the width 7.5mm and the weight is less than 1g.
