A cracked hammered silver cut half, voided Long Cross Irish penny of Henry III, c. AD 1216 - 1272 AD. The obverse has the facing crowned bust with sceptre within a triangle. The reverse with voided long cross and three pellets to each quadrant. This example is from the Dublin Mint, moneyer of Ricard c. 1251-54 AD. Diameter = 17.5mm, 0.60mm thick and weighs 0.7gm.
