A worn and damaged cut silver half-penny probably of Henry II, dating to the period AD 1180-1190. Stuck by the moneyer Lefwine in Lincoln. Class 1b-2. The coin is too worn for further identification. Although Richard I came to thr throne in 1189, it is more likely that this coin is of Henry II, as coins of his are more common.

A silver cut halfpenny of Henry III. Voided long-cross coinage, probably North Class 3, dating from 1248-1250. Mint of Lincoln.Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 226, nos. 986-988/1; probably Class 3c, but this is unclear due to the detail of the cut half remaining. The obverse bust is somewhat crude and the individual small and large pellets have blurred together to create haphazard dashes for the beard.
