An off-struck Medieval silver voided shortcross cut halfpenny of Henry II (AD 1154-89) dating to AD1180-1189. Bust facing crowned with sceptre: [HENRICVS.]R/E[X].  Voided short cross with quatrefoils in angles [ ]ON[ ]. Diameter: 18.45mm, thickness: 0.88mm, weight: 0.69g.

A silver cut penny of Henry I (AD 1100-1135) dating to AD 1125-1135. Quadrilateral on cross fleury type, BMC 15, Spink 1276, North 871 (issued 1125-c. 1135). The inscriptions are largely illegible through wear.  Diameter: 19.28mm, weight: 0.65g, thickness: 0.38mm.

Silver cut half penny, probably of Henry II (1154-1189), Class 1, now bent and cracked. Obverse showing a number of pearls in the crown. Reverse: voided short cross with pellets. Only a little of each inscription can be read, but there is enough on the reverse to show that the moneyer was Willelm, which in class 1 would narrow the mints down to London, Lincoln, Northampton or York. Issued between 1180 and 1189.

A complete silver voided short cross cut half penny. Probably Henry III (c.1216-1272), class 7 (c.1217-1272) due to the style of the bust.The coin is very worn on both obverse and reverse and only partial letters of the legends remain. Obverse - [h]EN[RICVS REX], reverse - [...]OL[...]. Mint and moneyer uncertain. Length - 16.53mm. Width - 8.74mm. Thickness - 0.51. Weight - 0.56g. North Vol 1, 1963, page 166 number 987-980.

A Scottish Medieval coin; an Alexander II short cross phase D cut half penny, minted at Roxburgh, moneyer PERIS. dating from c.1235-49 Obverse: Uncrowned bust facing left. Reverse: Voided short cross with a 6 pointed star in each quarter. Obverse will read + A(LEXANDE)R REX Reverse will read (PIE)RES ON R(OC) This is a known variation of the moneyer PERIS.
