A silver hammered cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272). The coin is a voided long cross. The mint is Wilton and the moneyer is John. The remaining obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust. Obverse legend: hENRI[CVS REX]III. On the reverse, one of the quadrants has three distinct rounded pellets. The pellets in the other quadrant are hard to discern and are possibly malformed. Reverse legend: ION/ONW. Diameter: 17.81. Thickness: 0.94mm. Weight: 0.6g. Die axis: 7 o'clock.
