A fragment of an early-medieval silver cut halfpenny of Aethelred II (978-1016), Crux Type (991-97; North 770), mint and moneyer uncertain. Ref: North 1994: 159. The coin is in fragmentary condition with a section of the outer edge of the coin missing, having broken along the line of the inner circle, and another break across the inner circle.
