Gold half guinea of William III, 1695. The obverse shows the laureate head of the king facing right and reads GVIELMVS III DEI GRA. The reverse shows four shields arranged in a cross, with a sceptre in each quarter and the lion of Nassau in the centre. It reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX 1695. Diameter 21mm, weight 4.15g.
