Gold crown of Charles I dating 1625-1626 (Group Ab with the first bust). The obverse has the bust of the king facing left with V behind his head and the legend CAROLVS D G MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX. The reverse has a crowned shield with the legend CVLTORES SVI DEVS PROTEGIT. The initial mark is a cross calvary. Diameter: 21.7mm; weight: 2.3g
