Obverse: Bust facing right, possible traces of rose to the right of bust but difficult to discern due to wear. Legend worn.
Reverse: Long cross fourchee over shield. Date above shield 1564. Third and fourth issue mint mark, Pheon (1561-65). Legend worn but likely reads: ‘POSVI DEV AD IVTORE M MEV’.

There appear to be a number of lines etched onto the coin. Due to the abrasion, the monarch and reverse are uncertain. Bust facing right.
