A worn, incomplete post-Medieval silver threepence dating to the reign of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). The mintmark is missing on the obverse, whilst on the reverse it appears that there is a book mintmark, meaning that the coin was minted in Aberystwyth around AD 1638-1649.
