A complete post medieval double pierced silver half-groat of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating c AD1625-1649. Group D. No inner circles. Unclear initial mark. See North (1991) no's:2256/2257. The coin has been pierced twice from reverse through to obverse, the piercings being positioned on either side of the neck of the bust. Dimensions: diameter: 16.20mm,  weight: 0.72g D/A: 9.
