Obverse: Crowned shield flanked by value, FRD•VI•D•G•HISP•ET IND•R (Fernando 6th by the grace of God King of Spain and the Indies). Reverse: Crowned hemispheres flanked by pillars, VTRA QUE VNUM (both as one). The date has an upside-down letter 5. Minted in Mexico.

Complete, Post-Medieval, silver 2 Reales coin of King Philip V of Spain (AD 1700-1724, 1724-1746), dated to 1721 on the coin's reverse. Crowned M mint mark (Madrid).
The obverse features a crowned squared shield containing the royal arms of Spain. On the left side there is an R for Reale. Below this there is a crowned letter M mint mark, for Madrid. The right side has a Roman numeral II, denoting the denomination of 2 Reales. Below this is the assayer's initial of 'A'.

A post medieval silver Mexican two real piece of Carlos (Charles) I and Johanna (reigned AD 1506-1544) dating to AD 1542-1572. Philip II ascended to the throne in AD 1556 but coins continued to be minted in the names of Carlos and Johanna until new dies were sent to Mexico in AD 1572. Obverse depicts single arched crowned Royal Shield with R II at the sides, the R and II have pellets at the top and bottom. A post medieval copper alloy coin probably 2 reales from colonial Spain probably dating to the 17th century. The obverse depicts a multi-part shield surmounted by a crown. The shield contains a central shield with three fleurs-de-lys, with the remainder of the shield separated into 7-9 sections with a different motif in each. The inscription is no longer visible. The reverse is completely illegible. The coin probably dates to the 17th century.
