A bent copper alloy illegible coin probably of the post medieval period, from the size, probably a Victorian halfpenny dating from AD 1837 - 1901.  The coin is worn and corroded and there is no visible legend or identifying features. It is bent into an asymmetrical U shape. It is unclear if this was deliberate or post depositional damage. It has a light greenish-brown patina. The measurements are length 13.1mm; width 24.7mm; thickness 4.6mm; weight 2.66g.
