Copper alloy possible coin fragment. A probably milled copper alloy flan, of the size of a small farthing or late sixpence of George III (1760-1820) or later, halved, and pierced with a hole of diameter 3.4mm set towards one edge. Traces of an outer circle appear on both sides. What this surrounded is uncertain on one side; the other side bears the words HONI SOIT [--], suggesting Arms within a Garter band may have appeared, presumably as a reverse motif (cf. the 1816 sixpence of the New or Last Coinage of George III).
