A copper-alloy farthing of George III AD1760-1820. Obverse shows first issue laureate and cuirassed bust facing right. (AD1771 - 1775). Obverse reads GEORGIVS . - III .REX. Reverse shows near illegible Britannia. Reverse legend reads BRITAN / NIA, with coin date 1775 in exergue. The coin has five sub-square indentations, from obverse through to reverse, all of which have tiny perforations through at the centre of each indentation. This coin has a diameter of 21.7mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 2.7g, and the die axis is 5 o'clock.
