A complete copper-alloy farthing of George II (AD 1727-60), no visible date. The coin is badly worn and has a rusty brown patina. The obverse is less worn than the reverse, and a faint bust facing left can be seen. On the reverse, Britannia seated facing left can just be seen. Both inscriptions are completely worn away. Diameter 21.55mm, Thickness 1.55mm, Weight 4.3g. George II issued farthings from 1729 to 1754. Compare a very well preserved example of a halfpenny at PUBLIC-1385DC.
