A post medieval copper alloy Irish farthing of George II (AD 1727-1760), dated AD 1738 (Young Head Coinage). The coin is very worn but much of the detail is still visible. The obverse shows a laureate bust of the king facing left on the obverse with [..] IUS II [..] inscribed around the edge. The reverse depicts a crowned harp with the legend HIB [..] and the date 17 38 below. Dimensions: diameter: 20.45 mm; weight: 1.83g.

Copper farthing of George II. It has a diameter of 20mm and weighs 4.46g (0.16oz). It is very worn and the edge is beaten up. Coins with beaten edes were often used as crude stacking weights, so this one is very approximately 1/5oz.
