A copper alloy Post Medieval coin; a farthing of William III, first issue, dated 1700. The coin is very worn and has been reused or modified by the addition of stamped marks on both faces. The obverse is embellished with a narrow heart and a quatrefoil. Together they look like a flower and leaves. The reverse has a line of probably three stamped marks. A crescent, a triangular wedge and a chevron, V or number 7.  The coin is 21.9mm in diameter, 1.4mm thick and weighs 3.56g. See Sink's standard catalogue (2011) number 3557 on page 372.
