Reverse: Celticised horse right; pellet below tail, edge of rosette of pellets above horse, horse with 'necklace'; pelleted exergual line with a strand projecting from each pellet, again a clearly defined and unusual feature. An incomplete, probably silver, Iron Age uniscribed unit of the Eastern Anglian region / Iceni probably struck by Antedios, c.AD 10- AD 30, probable Pattern/ horse type. Obverse depicts a square with two opposed crescents inside, with three pellets in a horizontal line above. Reverse depicts a horse running right, mane made of curved raised lines. Other detail on the reverse is difficult to see. Similar to Spink (2006), page 49, No 441 or 442. Diameter: 13.2 mm Thickness: 1.5 mm Weight: 0.7 g

The coin appears to have very base silver, possibly a plated copy.

The coin has been well struck and is preserved in extremely good condition, with only slight blackening of surfaces in evidence.
