A worn and clipped billon hammered hardi struck for Louis XI of France, dating c. 1461-1483. Obverse: half length bust of king facing holding sword, legend mostly illegible. Reverse: cross pattee quartering coin, fleurs and crowns alternating in angles.
This coin is the first of its type to be recorded on the PAS database.
