A post-medieval rose/ orb jetton struck at Nuremburg by Hans Laufer (1607-32), NIMANT KANT EWKERNDIN reverse (see Mitchiner p.476 where he cites Snelling 1769, pl.4 no.27). The jetton is very worn and thin with a central perforation from the centre of the orb.

A medieval copper-alloy Late Tournai jetton dating to the period c. 1497-1521. V monogram on the obverse and cross pattee on the reverse. Both are surrounded in a variation of the inscription SIT NOMEN BOMINI (benedictum) which is rendered "SIB IIOIIIEII DOIII I II I". Minted at Tournai. See Mitchiner (1988, 240) nos. 732-734.

A post medieval copper alloy jetton of the Spanish Netherlands dating AD1580-1600. Mitchiner p. 467.
Obverse: Pope standing on the left and King Philip of Spain standing on the right holding out an olive branch of peace to the Dutch lion between them. Behind his back PHilip holds the collar of the Inquisition.
Reverse: Dutch lion seated left, chained by a collar (inscribed INQVI, illegible on this example)to a column and statue representing the Inquisition. A mouse gnaws at the collar to liberate the lion.

A Post-Medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg Jetton, issued by Hanns Schultes III, dating to c.AD 1608 - 1612. 'Rose / orb' type, consistent with dating to between 1608 and 1612. The obverse depicts three crowns alternatively with three lis arranged centrifugally around a five petalled Rose. The obverse legend reads: +GLVCK KVMBT VON GOT ALEIN (Happiness ,luck or fortune, comes from God alone). The reverse depicts the Imperial Orb surmounted by a cross, within an ornamental tressure with three main arches. The reverse legend reads +HANS SCHLTES IN NVRENBERG.

The obverse depicts a bear walking left with three single stemmed flowers above and an inscription of : + CEST : LAMALLE : BES. Reverse : triple stranded straight cross fleuretty within a quatrefoil tressure with the letters A / V / E / O in the outer angles. Mitchiner (1988) p.185, no. 495-6.
