A copper alloy jetton that has been pierced in the centre with an iron nail. The decoration appears to be of a king's head on the obverse with a long cross and pellets on the reverse - this may suggest it is an English token dating from the 14th century. The jetton is bent in half.

This silver coin was probably minted during the reign of Edward I (1272-1307). The obverse shows a crowned bust facing within a circle of pin points. On the reverse there is a long cross patte with three curved pellets within each quarter. This identification is tentative, since the inscriptions and images are extremely worn.

Medieval Edwardian silver penny, 17mm in diameter and 0.72 grams in weight. The coin has a grey patina and is incomplete, being clipped and missing about a third of its area. The surface is very worn so nothing can be seen on the obverse. The reverse has a long cross with pellets and the inscription (which is just visible) reads CIVITAS LONDON.
