The mint is Bristol. Dates from 1280 to 1281 AD. Obverse legend reads as EDW R [ANGL DNS hYB]. Reverse legend reads as [VI]LL A[BR ISTO] L[LIE]. The original diameter is 19mm and the weight 0.72g

This is a copper alloy coin of al- Nasir al-Din Muhammad, Mamluk Sultan of Egypt and Syria. It dates to his third reign (709-741 AH/ 1310-1341 AD), probably mint of Damascus, date probably 730AH/ 1329/30 AD. The obverse reads: 'al-malik a[l-nasir]' with curving ornamental design below (and above). The reverse consists of a five petalled rosette. The surviving inscription around this reads: 'Dar[b bi...........] thalthin' ie 'struck in ............... 30'.
