Medieval hammered silver coin of Edward I (North 1022). A class 3g1 due to the open E in EDW and the large side fleurs and the late crown type. The remains of a crescent can be seen after R. The mint is Bristol. Dates from 1280 to 1281 AD. Obverse legend reads as EDW R [ANGL DNS hYB]. Reverse legend reads as [VI]LL A[BR ISTO] L[LIE]. The original diameter is 19mm and the weight 0.72g

Weight: 1.2 grams. Note: round face, quite coarse work, with heavy beard with outer line of 3 large pellets each side of the central pellet.
