A post-medieval silver fourpence of George III (1760-1820). Early coinages, young bust (Spink 3750), dating to 1770-1776. Mint of London. Spink (2011, 410).
It measures 18 mm in diameter and weighs 1.69 g. It has been pierced through the obverse near the circumference at around 4 o'clock, possibly for conversion into an item of jewellery.
