A post-medieval silver fourpence of George III (1760-1820). Early coinages, young bust (Spink 3750), dating to 1770-1776. Mint of London. Spink (2011, 410). It measures 18 mm in diameter and weighs 1.69 g. It has been pierced through the obverse near the circumference at around 4 o'clock, possibly for conversion into an item of jewellery.

A post-medieval silver fourpence of George III, dated 1763. Very worn and abraded, with a circular piercing at 12 o'clock. Obverse: bust right, with inscription GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA. Reverse: crowned 4 in the central field, crown reaching to the edge of the flan. The inscription reads MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX, starting at 2 o'clock, with the date 17 / 63 broken by the crown.
