A silver restoration groat of Henry VI (1470-1471). Reverse: [POSVI/DEV]m A/DIVTOB/E mEVm, VIL/LA B/BIS/TOW; long cross dividing legends, three pellets in each quarter. Bristol mint, the initial mark is a cross pattee. On these coins the letter R appears as B. AD 1470-early 1471. North no. 1619.

A pierced medieval silver groat of Henry VI (second reign), dating from1470 to 1471 AD. Minted in London, restoration cross inital and reverse mark (North 1617). The coin has been double struck on the reverse and is pierced between the L and O of LON/ to the right of the crown. It has suffered circumferential losses.
