Silver Groat of Henry VI, First Reign (1422-1461), Rosette-mascle issue (1430-1431), initial mark incurved pierced cross, Calais mint, Spink 1859. Buck (2000) classifies this type of Rosette-mascle issue groat as no.4 on p.17, with rosettes and mascles in the obverse legend, and dates this issue from 1427-1430.
