A silver medieval coin dating c.AD1350-1500, probably a medieval silver groat, possibly issued by Henry IV - Henry VI. Uncertain mint.
This coin has been folded in half, the top edge of which is folded over again The obverse is on the outer side of the fold with only a small section of the reverse inscription visible. A V-shaped piece from the second folded area is missing.
The coin is very worn and little of the design or inscription remains easily visible. The obverse appear to have a tressure of arches enclosing a crowned bust, the outline of which is just legible.
