A silver washed copper alloy contemporary forgery of a later medieval coin - most probably a half-groat of Edward III (AD 1327-1377) Fourth Coinage (AD 1351-61) Series D-F (1352-56). This assumption is made at the cusps of the tressures of the arches on the obverse do not have lis or trefoil terminals. The flan of the coin itself has been reduced to the size of a penny

A copper alloy half groat coin of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). Obverse: bust left facing with two pellets behind head. Legend reads [E] D G ROSA SI[NE SPINA]. Slight wear and half coin missing obscures details of dress but ruff, hair and crown are clear. Reverse: shield with royal coat of arms. Legend reads CIVI T [AS LON DON].
