A nearly complete Medieval copper-alloy half penny of Richard II, issued between AD 1377-1399. Withers Type 1k, identified by its misspelling 'RECARD' instead of 'RICARD' as is the case for other related types. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 63, no. 1331b. The coin has lost a small portion of its circumference and is worn, making it illegible in places.
