A medieval coin; a silver half penny of Henry VI (1422 - 1461), probably a mule with a plain issue obverse and a rosette-mascle issue reverse (similar to Withers' P.1/RMa in Halfpennies and Farthings). Unusually though, the obverse legend has the R in Henric missing. There is also a small extra pellet in the first quarter of the reverse. The coin has a diameter of 14.04mm, and is 0.54mm thick. It weighs 0.4g. The coin is clipped so one quarter of the reverse is missing.

Probably Withers type 2h with an annulet initial mark and an open crown. However, the coin is clipped, making the legend very difficult to read, so the identification cannot be certain. See page 31 in Halfpennies and Farthings; Edward IV - Henry VII, type 2h. North number 1667 probably.
