An incomplete, silver halfpenny of the Medieval period, from the reign of Edward III AD1327-1377. Obverse description: Crowned bust facing, tall bifoliate crown, star at end of legend. Obverse inscription: EDWARDVS REX ANG star. Reverse description: Long cross pattee dividing legend, three pellets in each quarter. Reverse inscription:CIVI-TAS-LON-DON. Star after DON. The coin is in a good condition with some wear on all surfaces; it has possibly been clipped at 12 and between 3 and 6 o'clock. Thickness: 0.56mm Weight: 0.5g Diameter: 15.53mm North: vol.2, p.47, no 1102/1
