Silver halfpenny of Edward I (1271-1307), Class 3g (1280-1282), minted in Bristol, with thick central part of the obverse S and crescent contraction marks. The side-fleurs to the crown are widely spread and the bust small and narrow and the drapery formed of two wedges. The type is illustrated by Withers and Withers, Edw. I and II, p. 53, Type 2.
